Give back to your community and make the holidays special for a child in need through CAC's Holiday Adopt-a-Family Program! During November and December, you can make a difference by selecting a family on CAC's online portal, shopping for gifts for the kids, and delivering them to CAC for distribution. More than 1400 children need your help this holiday season; learn more and 'adopt' a family at www.ourcac.org/adoptafamily. Companies and coworker groups that wish to adopt several families can reach out directly to CAC at adoptafamily@ourcac.org to be paired with families.

In 2021, generous donors made holiday gift wishes come true for 1,490 local children through CAC's Adopt-a-Family program! Individuals, businesses, and congregations adopted 580 families and provided gifts from the children's wish lists.  CAC also provided more than 600 families with holiday food boxes, a program that was made possible by a grant from the Shumard Foundation which has supported CAC's holiday and youth programs for more than a dozen years!
