The AJC is searching for an Sr. Designer to join our Creative Marketing team that creates compelling, multi-platform content for a range of initiatives including marketing, promotion and live events. What You’ll Do
Design, you live and breathe it …you know the deference between Bauhaus and Eames and know how to pronounce Neue. Your passion for design and skill is second to none. You concept and design amazing creative that connect brands with their customers. In this role, you’ll design for print, digital and motion as a part of the Creative Marketing team. You’ll also be a key factor in our mission to bring great minds together to cover the most pressing challenges of our time, improving our world for the next generation.
· You’ll develop creative that sets the look and feel of the AJC’s Brand and marketing
· This individual should be an expert designer, well versed in print, digital and motion graphics who excels in creative storytelling as well as technical proficiency.
· You will be expected to develop effective creative working relationships with our brand and growth partners, providing them with visual solutions that exceed their expectations while delivering award-winning creative.
· Demonstrates excellent knowledge in design systems and software including, but not limited to the Adobe creative suite.
· You will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of artistic output consistent with the AJC’s marketing strategies and objectives.
· Identify opportunities for improved processes and tools to support design operations
· You’ll partner with other key leaders to develop strategic design direction for initiatives distributed across multimedia channels and market segments.
· The Sr. Designer will be a creative team leader in design and responsible for a multitude of print, digital and motion formatted deliveries.
· The Sr. Designer applies creative, collaborative, technical and quality-control skills to high-level concepts.
· Highly effective communication skills, a willingness to share knowledge, and works effectively in a team environment.
· You will create and deliver content for our Brand and Growth partners, utilizing your own creative and technical prowess, experience and talent in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
· He/she will remain well-versed with industry trends and new techniques and be able to apply newfound knowledge to current work. The Senior Designer will explore untested and unique approaches to creative solutions, pushing the department forward, while meeting all project and scope restrictions.
Who You Are
You’re an industry leading Designer with a portfolio that demonstrates your vast experience, and you’re in an elite echelon of creative and technical minds. You also have the following:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred along with majoring in design, art, graphic design, or other creative field. With Bachelor's degree you must have 4+ years of experience (preferably in advertising); with Masters, 2+ years of experience and with no Bachelor's, 8+ years of experience.
· Would ideally like you to have at least 2 years of experience in a Sr. Designer role
· Business acumen in creative agency operations, and appreciation for efficient operations that support brilliant work.
· This individual should be an expert designer, well versed in design, motion graphics, who excels in creative storytelling as well as technical proficiency. An arts education in advertising design and conceptual thinking.
· Strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal department relationships.
· Proven leadership that gains the confidence of creative professionals, peers and client stakeholders.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $64,200.00 - $96,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company’s needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
