Fitness Floor Staff
Supervise and maintain all fitness spaces. Interact with members to answer questions, address concerns and assist them with their needs, using the highest level of customer service and professionalism. Ensure a healthy & safe environment. Potentially be available for work some evenings and weekends.
Principle duties and responsibilities:
• Provide excellent customer service to all members.
• Ensure members abide by Fitness Center rules.
• Perform front desk responsibilities, including but not limited to monitoring member check-ins through card swipes, managing the washing and folding of fitness towels, and handling incoming phone inquiries.
• Respond to all member inquiries, comments, and concerns, making an extra effort to provide thorough answers and effective solutions.
• Assist members with equipment as needed. Schedule members for a QuickStart Orientation with a Personal Trainer when appropriate.
• Use the Floor Staff checklist to clean all equipment throughout the day. Replenish cleaning products as needed. (Store weights in proper location, check cup holders for trash, etc).
• Report equipment issues to Director of Fitness and Manager of Training.
• Ensure all fitness spaces, including studios, are properly stocked with items necessary for operations and cleanliness.
• Return and store equipment outside of the Fitness Center in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all policies associated with Employee Handbook & Health and Fitness Safety Manual.
