  • Driving growth - established history of meeting and exceeding revenue and conversion growth targets and goals
  • Developing a team - lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence
  • Acquisition channel expertise - including SEO, SEM, social, video, affiliate, lead nurturing, email marketing, and partnerships.
  • Efficient customer acquisition - optimize the marketing funnel to  maximize conversion rates, lower customer acquisition costs, and act as the gateway to our all-in-one platform
  • Experimentation and optimization - analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform A/B testing and optimization techniques
  • Building brand equity - develop compelling messaging and creative strategies that resonate with our target audiences to strengthen the ZenBusiness brand presence and positioning in the market 
  • Collaborating - work across marketing, product, engineering, sales, and customer success teams to meet timelines and deliver results
  • Communicating - communicate marketing plans, progress, and results to stakeholders and executive team with insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

This position will report to the CMO and is a remote role.


  • Developing acquisition strategy - guide our acquisition teams to drive consistent growth
  • Establishing goals and budgets - coordinate with marketing team leads and executive leaders to set goals and budgets
  • Hitting and exceeding targets - manage budgets and meet and exceed KPIs for conversions, customer acquisition costs, revenue, and ROAS
  • Researching the market - market analysis, customer insights, and competitive intelligence
  • Testing and experimentation - help set and define the experimentation roadmap to deliver consistent conversion and revenue optimization wins
  • Evaluating campaign performance - coordinate with team leads to drive continual improvements to campaigns across marketing acquisition channels
  • Managing customer journey to purchase - ensure a consistent brand experience across our marketing, on the site, and in our email and sales communications

Goals and Desired Results

  • Hit and exceed customer acquisition goals - for conversion volumes, revenue, and efficiency metrics for each acquisition channel
  • Increase conversion rates and AOV - use experimentation and testing to drive results
  • Drive incremental campaign improvement - coordinate with team leads to hit and exceed their targets
  • Establish new acquisition channels and strategies - test into new channels, creatives, and messages to drive future growth and success
  • Improve brand health metrics - focus on awareness, recall, consideration and favorability


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or related roles, with a proven track record of setting strategy and driving significant business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and techniques.
  • Experimentation framework that drives improvements to conversion and revenue
  • Exceptional analytical skills and experience with data-driven marketing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Business intelligence and data analysis tools
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Lead nurturing and prospecting
  • macOS and G-Workspace knowledge is a plus
