Cox Enterprises is hiring a Treasury Manager. The Treasury Team and Investments Team at Cox Enterprises manages all capital market and investment activities for the consolidated companies. This individual will have a wide range of responsibilities across the Treasury and Investments function, but primarily will support the centralized cash management functions of the company.  These responsibilities include but are not limited to cash forecasting, cash reporting, merger and acquisition integrations, FBAR reporting, and Onestream.  

This is an early-to-mid-career position in the Treasury and Investments Team who will have a great deal of visibility among internal and external departments as well as Management that will report to the Director of the Capital Market and Investment Team.  This role will supervise up to 1-2 junior staff – i.e. an analyst or analysts and will partner as needed with members of the various teams within Treasury (Investments, Compliance, Operations and Capital Markets) as well as other internal Cox groups including Accounting, Legal, Financial Reporting and Tax. Some external partners this person will interact with include legal counsel, auditors, banks and other financial institutions.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, drive and support initiatives that optimize banking infrastructure, cash management and specialty finance processes.

  • Define and ensure application of effective governance processes, including; cash management, specialty finance, liquidity and financial risk.

  • Develop and oversee goals and standards for Treasury teams in support of Finance and company strategy.

  • Develop a structure to work with business partners, shared services providers and other finance teams to optimize working capital.

  • Advise senior leadership on issues related to cash, liquidity and associated financial management.

  • Oversee cash management functions including cash flow forecasting and analysis, preparation of the daily cash report, daily borrowings and repayments.

  • Develop strategies to mitigate potential issues and ensure they’re included in Treasury’s strategy and tactical development.

  • Enhance and manage the corporate short-term cash flow forecasting process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field with 6+ years of finance experience with evidence of progressive responsibility in one or more of: Fortune 500 company, major bank or top tier consulting firm. A candidate may also have a Master's Degree with 4+ years of experience, a Ph.D with 1+ year of experience. Non-degreed candidates will have 10+ years of experience

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.

  • Ability to interact and build relationships with multiple constituencies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • CFA / CPA / CTP designations

  • 1+ year of experience in a leadership capacity

  • Prior Treasury, Banking, Capital Markets, Corporate Finance Experience

  • Telecommunications or Automotive industry experience.

 

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $106,700.00 - $177,900.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
